-  Passing through the monumental, wrought-iron gate (from the beginning of the 18th century) the visitor enters a vast vaulted room situated on the ground floor of the old silk mill, wich is illuminated by a multicoloured stained-glass window.

-  The passageway from the 15th century with its flying buttresses takes us to the 13th century fortified doorway.

-  An enormous Egyptian cat (Basteh - of the XXIII ème dynasty) invites the browser to explore the cellars dedicated to the statuary of ancient Egypt.

-  A wonderful, stone stairway leads you to the five magnaneries, which have been transformed to create the museum. The play of light, accompagnied by gregorian chant, gives an almost dreamlike quality to the space.

-  Then we enter the 'Maison de maitre' (from the beginning of the 19th century). The first room is set apart to tibetan buddhism, where the centrepiece is the statue of the infant Buddha Thuksey Rinpoche. The second room presents a retrospective of the works of  Marcel Schoenenberger.

-  The visit ends in an extensive exhibition of artistic photographs and an update of the archives of the estate.
